(1) Clause of sub-section (1) of section 16 of the Act
A person entitled to apply for a temporary certificate of Nepali nationality in accordance with (a) should apply at the nearest Nepali consulate or diplomatic office in the format as per schedule-6.
(2) Local currency of fifty rupees or its equivalent should be filed along with the application given as per sub-rule (1).
(3) If the application written in accordance with sub-rule (1) is found to be correct, the concerned consulate or diplomatic office shall grant such vessel a temporary certificate of Nepali nationality as per schedule-7.
(4) According to sub-rule (3), the Nepali Consulate or Diplomatic Office, which provides a temporary certificate of nationality, should inform the office that such certificate has been issued as soon as possible.
